Dorothy Ogden Brown has been an artist and art teacher for all of her professional life. Her oil paintings and pastel work have been shown in many venues including solo shows at college and university galleries, museums, competitive group exhibitions, and commercial galleries. She has taught Art in both private and public schools as well as in a variety of studio settings. She works with arts integration initiatives in the public school system as well as throughout the state of Georgia. She holds a BFA and an MFA in Painting, is a GA certified art teacher, a Hambidge Fellow, and a consultant in Arts Education with the Georgia Council for the Arts.
